Retrofit TREX 21031B to a non-RS? - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

The website I bought my grille off showed that the 21031B would fit all 2015 Camaro SS - at the time it didn't say anything about it needing to be an RS in order to fit. Do you think it would be possible to retrofit the grille to fit my 2015 Camaro 1SS, or do I need to return my order and buy something else? Im hoping the only difference is the space for the chrome strip that the RS has - maybe I could just fill that gap with weather strip or something and other than that it would fit well?
