Yep world is mad. I don't care how rich I was, why do that when your phone does the same and a lot more?
A real idiot would waste that kind of money for a clock.

Here's an exchange that myself and another member had about the clock in the Bentayga a couple months ago in another thread:

Win-win.

THAT would be my cool wealth- exhibiting eccentricity... long before the high- dolla clock Bentley is offering.

When you have $100,000,000+ money becomes like pocket lint. You're not trading something of value, you're just deciding to own something and giving up nothing in exchange. Think of it this way:

If we say 'Person A' has a net worth of $200,000 and 'Person B' has a net worth of $2,000,000,000, the relative cost of this clock for Person B is about equivalent to the cost of dinner at Applebee's for Person A. Dinner. At. Applebee's.

I'm not one of those people, but I have worked with a lot of them and it is absolutely astonishing to see the way they make purchase decisions. The ones that make the money for themselves are different, but the folks that inherit huge fortunes often don't even ask what something costs. The rest of us think in terms of opportunity cost. They don't have to worry about that, they can have this clock and everything else they want without even putting a dent in their savings.

I'd hate to file the Insurance Claim when that SUV gets broken into and the Breitling is stolen!

Some Hoodrat will be wearing it around his neck on a Fake Gold Chain!

I understand as I have some extremely rich acquaintances. But the ones that don't know the Dent in their Savings end up Bankrupt and don't know why. Look at Sports Stars like Warren Sapp that go bankrupt and all he showed for Assets were a Bear Skin Rug and 200 pairs of Air Jordans!

Well, 62 individuals own 50% of the world's wealth (so 3.6 BILLION people's wealth = 62 individuals wealth), so...those types can buy a $215,000 clock the same as we mortals can go and buy a starbucks coffee.

That still doesn't justify paying 250k for a clock. Just proves that they have the coin to make dumb decisions
