Thats a nice little starter kit... if you can swing the extra $$$ take a look at the flex 3401 or rupes lhr21 as those are tools capable of a little more, but if that kit falls in your budget the GG6 will do just fine for you.

I concur. With that kit you would be able to get your car in top shape.
Be sure to search on google. I know I found 10% off coupons for detailersdomain. That's 27.50 off on that kit.

Thanks for the replays!!. I felt like it was a pretty good kit but just wanted some feed back from people that know this stuff. I have detailing stuff showing up daily so might have to add this to the list. Not sure whats more addicting buying cars parts or buying stuff to clean the car.

That is a nice kit. I'd change the pads around though. There's little difference between the black and blue pads. Both are advertised as having no cutting ability. I like the blacks, especially for applying glazes, but that's just personal preference. I think you'll find yourself applying waxes by hand. Yellow is a high cutting pad, just so you know. The orange pads cut very well too and IMO, are better for a beginner. I've never used a green so I can't comment on them. I think a good combo for all 5 pads would be 2x orange, 2x white, and 1x black. Which ever choose, having a couple cutting and light cutting pads will make the process move along MUCH faster. No need to interrupt the whole process to take the pad off, clean, dry, reprime. The more you have the quicker the process. I've got 3 orange, 3 white, and 2 black and wish I had more.

You can't go wrong with it for your first attempt at polishing. You probably won't even need to polish, you may, but I doubt it.

Sorry, I'll clarify, you probably won't need to have a two step polishing process.

Thanks that's great if one step will do it. If the FG-400 finishes nice and there's no hazing or anything like that and I decide to use the Sf-4000 anyway would there even be a noticable difference by topping it with the 4000 if it's truly not need. Or just a waste of time
