When I started looking at the Heritage Grille, I found that I didn't care for the Silver one on the SIM. IMO it kinda squished the front end down a bit and was too much silver. I searched for pics of the black grille on a SIM with no luck, but took a chance and bought it ... couldn't be happier about the choice.

And since I had problems finding a pic, posting the result here for others that might be curious...

Yeah ... Looks as if you felt the same way about too much silver on the front end but solved it differently by painting the inner portions of the fascia surrounding the headlights and grille black. It does help break up the silver.
