Rubbed Raw, but not cracked, all Z/28's should check

I decided to do an inspection after reading about the cracked splitters, and I've only owned my Z a few weeks and wanted to see the differences from my '10 SS. I don't have any cracks, but I did find this.

Driver's side front, sensor wire rubbing, or rubbed, against the wheel. Not a big deal since I caught it early. It could stink if you are driving on the track, dependent upon the computer to assist and the wire rubbed apart.
After studying the situation, it looks like this can happen on any corner because the clips for the wire can easily slide on the brake hose. I used 3 zip ties per corner and snugged down the clips and wire so they cannot move as easily.

Mine is a pre-production so maybe the full production models are different, I don't know, but I recommend everyone check.

Just checked. Im ok..

On my car I also noticed that the wiring harness that runs under the throttle body / steam port pipe was also rubbed. My car has 1K on it and the electrical tape was rubbed all the way thru. I re taped the harness and routed it over the steam pipe to give it some wiggle room. It was pinched before..

Pre-production? I didn't think that Chevrolet ever sold pre-production cars.

Please elaborate.

69 pre-production z-28s were made for 2014. They are distinguished as CTF cars (capture test fleet) and were not intended for public sale but some have made it out into the wild.

CTF...there are at least 2 listed as members here in our forum. They have a VIN that has a series of 9s instead of the usual sequential #

Im not sure of the total number released, but i recall seeing many CTF cars for sale the first part half of 2015. Im sure they all made it out alive since they were not actual test cars. IIRC the CTF cars are used to ensure assembly quality and are driven a few thousqnd miles then get auctioned off.
It would be nice to know how many true test mules were made before the CTF cars hit the assembly line.

CTF car 002 was sold in the far North East. Came up for sale in December'14 or January'15. I remember wishing i had not bought my AGM as the CTF #2 was white with AC.
