those wheels on a silver would look sick. Nice stuff. Looks pretty mean. Anyone know the compression on the motor? gonna be friendly to pulley changes, et al?

Really nice.

BTW, it has Ti-VCT, not vtec. Saying it has or will get vtec is like calling dodge's hemi engines as 'LSX's' when they have no real connection to each other.
Nobody cares about the silly trade and marketing terms attached to the variable valve timing mechanisms. There aren't many significant differences between any of the modern VVT systems (at least the ones that work). Anyone who thinks Ford would have VVT if Honda didn't is fooling himself. It is VTEC, regardless of the changes and refinements and attempts to mask Honda technology. There has been VVT varations since the 1920s, but the successful modern rendition widely used appeared on Honda CBR motorcycles in the 1980s, appears in several European and Japanese cars now, and a copycat rendition with refinements appears in the Ford engines today. The idea of using modern electronics to control VVT is a Japanese development. Get over it.

A great looking metallic green would seal the deal for me. Something like Bowling Green Metallic from the early C5 Vettes.

Pictures just don't do it justice. I almost bought one of these, waited too long and it was gone. They're so rare.

I don't want my Z/28 to compete with the GT500. I'll leave that to a SS

you correctly state it as VVT many times in your own post. Vtec has nothing to do with anything unless you are talking about Honda's. VVT does not equal Vtec.

calm down guy, don't go changing the subject on a rant after being corrected. Keep it on subject and civil. This is a celebration/discussion regarding the Z28, not a thread for your feeble attempts to downgrade another car.

I'll trade up!

My original plan was to wait for the Z28, but glad I didn't ....love my SS, no doubt about it, but I'll trade for a Z28 in a New York Minute!
