I have a Hyundai veloster that I drive like a dirty whore, and I get 29 mpg. It is completely gutless and I hate every second of it. Ill take 10 less mpg for a whole lot more fun... Spring cant come soon enough

My 4 cylinder is lucky to see 23 mpg on cruise control drafting behind a semi down-hill. 2014 Evo FTL lol. But it's the Smiles per gallon!

Last Wednesday night we drove 60 miles to watch my grand daughters dance recital. I drove like an angel on the way there, set the cruise at 61, the sunroof was open and the DIC clicked up to 26.4 as I came to our turnoff into town. Now this was just highway driving, and once we hit driving in town it drops pretty quick. Overall we average 20.5. The reason it is that high is because my wife and I do a lot of cruising around on beautiful days getting lost on back roads. Many times then we have the cruise set at 45, the windows and sunroof open and just enjoying a nice ride.

Just for Ss & Ks, I tested my mpg on a 20 mile stretch on I-81 yesterday, ending with a 5 mile stretch on a local state highway ending at my home. While on I-81 I maintained a steady 60 to 65 mph and was able to average 26.3 mpg until my exit. From there to home (5 miles) it ended up at 24.6. My normal mpg for all driving is around 16 or 17.

You have to break it in and feel it out. Shoot, I can blow 1/4 tank through in ~45 minutes if I want.

After you have it for a while and start to drive like a citizen (for the most part) you should see 16-18 MPGs.
My 2LT only shows 17/mpg which is a bit of a shock to me as I had expected much better.

Ah, another surprised new SS owner. You want mpg's, drop back down to the V6. Just kidding...I was a it taken back also, but like you, I knew it wasn't going to be great. I have not seen the 15 it states on the sticker, but I don't do enough highway to get it up there. I get 11-12 tops. Not my DD, so the expense isn't all that bad for me.

I average 18 driving normally day to day through a rural town. I'm pretty content with that, I didn't buy a Camaro for the gas mileage haha

The Camaro is a upgrade in MPG for me. I came from a lifted F150 with 35 inch tires that was getting 11 MPG around town.

I was driving a 2000 Jeep Cherokee Classic V6 before I got my Camaro. Definite mileage improvement.
