These cars are great cruisers...

I still can't get over how smooth and stable the Camaro feels cruising down the highway at relatively high speeds. Other cars I've had, if I was hauling ass, I felt like I was hauling ass. This just feels like a nice, leisurely Sunday drive. Good stuff

I even changed to low profile tires because I bumped up to 22s and it still rides like stock. IMPRESSIVE!!

And oh so comfortable. My bench seat Impala gives me backache after just a couple of hours. I've done 6-8 hours non stop (well maybe gas stops- lol) in my SS with no discomfort.
I just love interstate travel in this car.

Yep. Have to agree with you there E.T. These cars eat the miles effortlessly. I had 2 Mustang V8 GTs before, and the Camaro V6 completely outclasses it for comfort, and handling, and yet still gets on it in terms of speed.

Agree, I did 5500 miles between Dec 17th and Jan. 1st. Best traveling car I have ever owned.

Here, here! Just completed a trip from Seattle to Portland for work the other day. Of course, i obeyed all posted speed limits....

It's very stable, relaxed, and all-things-nice at relatively high speeds.

CRUZERS

These cars are meant to CRUIZE...Last weekend we did a 200 mile trip on the Highway at speeds of 75 mph. It felt like 50! Average mileage was 21.7mpg and we had three people in the car!

Not only is a great cruiser. I do believe in my 40 years of driving this is the most stable car in stormy, windy weather. The low wide profile, weight of the car, and rubber on the road seems to make it more stable than my suburban.
