Will 315/50/17 On 2014 ZL1 Camaro

Hey guys how you doing. I’m trying to get some traction for my 2014 ZL one Camaro . I have a 1 inch drop all the way around. I’m trying to get 315 50 17 tire or 305/45/17. Has anybody out there ever used any of these tire sizes on their car specifically a ZL1 Camaro

Is that a paint job or a wrap?

I have MT ET Street R - P305/45R17's on my Z. Keep in mind you will most like have to tie back the E brake cable, and grind a little off the lca and nut to avoid abrasion. Also, the wheels have to be center balanced (>2 1/4" <3 1/2" in from the inside of the wheel edge).

That's a 29.5" tall tire. I'm sure you can squeeze it in there but you're going to lower that rear gearing by doing that.

305 will fit with no problem. I have seen 315 on one Camaro but it was stock ride height and it was a tight fit.

Right now I’m making 770 to the wheel. How well do the 17 inch drag radio work for you? Do you think it’ll hold my power? By the way appreciate the pictures and the comments. And I’m thinking about running a Mickey Thompson bias ply because the drag radios won’t be ready until November. The size is 28.13.17 bias ply et street.

I'm running these

https://www.summitracing.com/parts/mtt-3576

with these wheels

https://www.summitracing.com/parts/rce-92-705253b

and they fit perfect, with a bit of rubbing on a real solid launch. Just leaves a scuff mark from the fender lip, and it rubs somewhere inside too but I haven't had them off to look at where exactly.
