Painted bowties in 2021

Hey y’all, I’ve done some searching and pretty much all I can find for places to paint your bowties is rpi. Looks like river city creations doesn’t exist anymore. The rpi ones are ok but they don’t give you many options and I’ve heard some sketch stuff about them. I’ve found a couple other places that offer them but they have the same photos and options as rpi which makes me think they outsource them to rpi. Anybody know of another place or website with quality painted bowties? Tia

I've been looking for some more custom painted stuff to finish out my build and haven't seen any place else except RPI. River City DID close due to COVID, I saw it on their website right before it went down, they were only a 3 person shop. They said they weren't sure when or even if they would be back in business. It's a shame because my entire interior is by them, they did AWESOME work for sure. RPI is advertised thru lots of vendors out there and Southern Car Parts is them as well. I have purchased from RPI 4 times and have had no issues with them except for the last item I bought back in Oct 27th 2020, it took me until a week ago to get the piece, but it was FLAWLESS and looked great, I was very happy when I did get it. It was a CF Hydro dipped Z28 front splitter and looks amazing, worth the wait.. So that is my .02 on that. Good luck in your hunt.

Yea I wished I had got them done by rcc before they stopped. It’s always been one of those things I put off for bigger mods. Glad to here rpi does good work at least. Thank you for the info!

Not paint, but I got a vinyl overlay for my bowtie. It looks nice and is inexpensive.

Guys. This is not difficult to do. Any competent body shop should be able to do whatever color you wish at a decent price. Shop local. If you are really stuck, PM me for contact info for my buddy that sprayed mine. I am a body man but don't have my own facilities or stock of paint anymore, so it wasn't worth me doing them myself at this time. There really is not much to it!

I used peel coat on my front bowtie to black it out instead of it being gold, where would I find the overlays? The peel coat is finally starting to 'peel' after 3+ years and is looking raggedy.
