Drag setups?

Can everyone drop what tire and wheel they’re running and if it fits or if you had to change anything up to get them to fit.

These ForgeStar wheels and Nitto tire drag set up has to be the nicest wheels I ever seen on a 5th gen Camaro in my opinion.

Tired and true set up. I now run MT ET Street R 305/45*17, as I swapped for a 4L80.

We need a lot more info as to what exactly are your plans and goals? Street to strip, dedicated track only etc.

Like Jay said, lots of info missing here to really make the best decision on what setup is going to benefit you best.

My street/strip arrangement is some 18x11 ZL1 replica's with Nitto NT05R 305/45/18s. Not ideal (too tall, sub-par grip for a drag radial) but they do look nice, match my fronts, and will last a good deal longer than any other street driven drag radial.

Few more questions for the pros

Hey all . Just wanted to piggy back on the OP . Am going to be doing a procharger D1 Sc setup in about a week so wanted to get some opinions from the pro’s in the forum . Essentially car is going to be DAILY driver / weekend racer : looking for a nice setup for rears ( tires and wheels ) . Currently I have ROHANA RF2 wheels on my staggered setup . Front 20x9 and rears 20x10 . I have bf Goodrich g force comp 2 all season 305 35 20 tires on the rears . Does anyone have a nice setup that will hook really well and not break the bank at the same time . Any recommendations are helpful

I think your selling yourself short brother on those 18” Nitto’s. Lol . I seen those hook great for you and I last time out at the track. Your right though that it’s not the very best but certainly gets the job done while also looking good too. I think it’s a perfect set up for occasionally hitting the track to have fun without getting into higher cost for say the set up I just moved into.

I may sell my 18’s rears now I have the 17’s full set up. If they don’t sell I’m not gonna sweat it since I can use them to tear up the streets.

I could sell ya my 18” x11 rear rims and tire set if you’re just looking for a rear set up only. They have tpms and are balanced. Great set like new. No scratches on rims and tires have tons of meat left. They have 6 full passes on them at the track and maybe 400 miles of street driving on them. Zl1 reps 18x11 w/ Nitto NT05s
