Congrats... and to answer your question - Yes, a cold air intake (especially with the lower grille air scoop) makes a difference in get-up-and-go, responsiveness, and sound. Some even claim a modest HP gain. Do some research and get you one.
And I don't know about the '14s, but with my '13 a CNC Ported Throttle Body makes for even quicker engine response.
