Black Chrome, Yeah

Got these put on Friday, but its been raining ever since. So these pics are from inside the garage. I'm embarassed at the dirty wheel wells, I'll clean them next weekend. I love these wheels. A guy at the tire shop came in with wide eyes and said, "Is that your car? Those are serious looking rims man." The rusty rotors are from the Meguiar's Wash and Wax. The first braking will clean them up. I put Chemical Guys VRP on the the tires. It is water based and has UV protection.

Tire Rubbing

Just tried to install my new set of FR ZL1 rims 20X10, 23mm offset w/Goodyear G2 F1 285/35ZR/20 in front and 20x11 w/305/35ZR/20 43mm offset in the rear. The wheels look beautiful, but I am rubbing on the inside in the front. I am running bilstein coilovers and the tire is pressed against the bottom perch and the spring. The car is 2010 SS. purchased rims from Phastek, prompt shipping, received the rims in perfect condition. Could the offset be wrong, or would camber adjustment move the wheel out that much and keep it aligned. Any help is greatly appreciated. Looking at almost $600 per wheel w/Road Force balance and new TPMS.

that would make it even WORSE! The coils must've moved the perch down a bit...not much you can do other than run a spacer, decrease camber or different set of rims

Would a 275/40/20 size tire help kdluke with the rubbing issue? Good luck kdluke! I hope you find a solution.

kdluke, check your camber. I'm running +35 (closer in than yours) and 275's and it's close but it fits. Your should be 1/2 inch farther out at +23 with less than a 1/2 inch wider total for the tire. If you are set at more than -1 degree of camber, have it set back to less than -1 and you should be go to go.

Hope this helps

Thanks guys, not sure what the camber setting is, but will check it out. If camber plates/kit will do the trick I am all in.

Rickdallas did you go with a camber kit?

I don't want to go with spacers. as I have done that in the past.

Hi, has anybody ordered these wheels to Canada? If so, how much did shipping cost? Specifically Ontario. I'm thinking of purchasing either the PVD black chrome or gloss black wheels in 20x8 front and 20x9 rear. Also, I own a 2015 2LT Black Camaro vert. What specific offset would fit best? Thank you!

Outstanding!!!!!! Totally beautiful!! I think the PVD black chrome are absolutely the perfect wheel for red Camaros. I have had sooo many compliments since I got mine. People think my car is some special model, or a Z28.

Really man, that is beautiful.
