Installing aFe sway bars, do I need MRC recalibrated?

Like the title asks, I am installing sway bars soon by aFe....I already have had their springs installed way back in 2016. But I have been reading about a need for having the MRC recalibrated in sway bar threads, so I am trying to confirm, if I need that done on my 2016 2SS.

Thanks!

You are saying I should have recalibration done once the car is lowered?

I have lowered my car, and replaced most of the suspension parts than can be replaced with BMR, and there is no issue with the MRC needing calibrated, going on 18 months now. The car is not just daily driven, I have had it on road courses and many auto cross events.

No problem, just remember, weather it's you doing it or a shop, remind them to undo the MRC sensors before dropping the rear arms, easy to do, but painful if you don't, ask me how I know.

Gotcha....thanks again man!

I am having one of the local shops do it, they have done other 16s for the local dealer, but I will make sure to mention this to them. I wish I had the garage equipment to do this one my own. The 2012 was a lot easier to DIY under the car.
