huh? I know it, along with IBM (my two favorite colors at the moment for the ZL1) and few other metallic colors are on an indefinite hiatus due to the earthquake in Japan.

We need some newer colors for the zl1, in addition to some of the colors that are now being offered. No offense, but most of the current camaro colors aren't exciting to me. Chevy and gm needs to come up with a way to market some of the newer colors (especially the colors that are related to the '69 zl1 palette) so that they do not "implode on the launch pad"....much like the nice abm color.

No CGM!! I honestly don't know what color would be my second choice. Since the black ssx wheels came out I have wanted a CGM to match.

Could they do black with VR or IOM stripe from the factory?

I thought I had read somewhere that CGM was going away and Carbon Flash (or whatever) was replacing it.. But, neither is a color I prefer, so I didn't pay too much attention to it.

I wouldn't mind a green that's not Synergy so I wouldn't feel guilty buying it. That or Electron Blue -- I always liked that color on the C5 Vettes

You would think if they stopped offering a gray they would come back with a slightly different shade of gray to replace it. But that is just my way of thinking. I guess they didn't replace ABM with another blue...they went green.

Damn! If CGM is going away, I don't know what would be my second choice. I may have to compromise on color just to get the car I want. We'll have to wait and see what's available once specs and orderng info are announced.

Before we all go into panic mode, the only basis we have for CGM being dead is one post. While it could very well be the case, I haven't seen anything posted elsewhere.

Can anyone confirm this? No offense OPP, but I'm not believing anything until I hear it from a trusted source.

Sorry to spoil your plans, but no you won't. RJT has been confirmed as discontinued and will be replaced by crystal red metallic.

Crystal Red Tintcoat is a very nice looking color. In fact, it's one of my top color choices for my ZL1.

With regard to light blue colors, according to fbodfather, the light blues just don't sell very well on Camaros, and the low number of orders of ABM is why it was dropped from the Camaro color palette.

IMO, the photographer who shot the ABM Camaro for Chevy's website should be dropped, not the color. It looked like a really lame blue on the site, when in fact it was one of the best colors available.

It's hard to get the true sense of a color on a computer. Everyone's screen settings are different and just truely can't lend itself to what you see in person.
