You've convinced me to do the same Rick - mine goes into GuruTrev on Friday 8th December for the blower and stuff and I've asked him to replicate wot you did do! Laced your rears bald yet?......

I just acquired a pair of California plates for next season.
Front will go on with small suckers in the 4 US spaced holes, rear will need something else as I used the 4 US holes to mount the UK plate, may just use elastic bands? |

My rear is US style stamped black / orange, held on over a legal one underneath by small sticky velcro pads. Can whip it off easy, "sorry officer, just been to a show and forgot to remove it ! " If the situation arises.Which it hasn't.
