I was gonna say the same thing. $500 whole dollars. Damn, that makes my heart bleed. not for 51,000. Not in a million years would I spend 22,000 more dollars for a supercharger, re-leather, and a new paint scheme. Never.
Stupid Saleen.

Don't forget the body kit! But as for the discount . . . its not even 1% off! And the price mark up is insane I suppose they need to if they are only making 24 of them. the GT500 is a waaay better deal, and probably has a nicer interior too, in addition to more power and lower price.

True...and it has a much better name attached to it.

But......

It's still just another variation of the Mustang.

$ off for troops???? what the H#// does he think they make that 500$ off is going to make. I know that my buddy had to save four months salary to buy a decent engagement/wedding ring for his finance just another strike against Steve Saleen. I wish he would just go away im tired of his B.S.

in all fairness, it's not him. He exported himself to a chinese company - Good Riddance. But the poor excuse of an aftermarket company he left behind isn't much better, agreed.

Steve no longer has anything to do with the company he created. So I suppose he has already gone away.

I hear ya Im active duty and 500 dollars isnt an incentive to buy anything...hell Im struggling trying to save up for the 5th gen. whats bad is there are going to be young military guys that get suckered into buying this thing and they're entire paycheck is going to go to paying the note.

Well Saleen is doing what they can to make money WHILE they can. I still have respect for them, except the price gouging is a little high. If people are willing to pay all that extra money, why should I stop them. Saleen is trying to capitalize as much as they can and that's good business. And if you didn't have to order directly from the company for a car you wanted, and could buy it in a dealership like Saleen does, why not just buy the version you like? If people want a cool looking car and they don't have to spend money on the extra paint and warrantiess and all that, it's a decent solution, granted they're probably paying more than they need to.

Steve isn't with the company anymore and Steve's the guy I have a problem with. Saleen can come out with as many versions as they want. I say let people get gouged if they want to. Doesn't matter to me in the least. It's not my money.
