July 18 2015: Rock Fall Raceway Rock Falls, WI
80 deg. F
Humidity: 75%
Dew Point: 68.7 deg.
Pressure: 29.78" steady
DA: 2708'

Modifications to car: CAI cold air intake, Elite Oil Catch Can, Elite Clean Side Oil Separator, ARH Catless Downpipes, Magnaflow Resonated X Pipe

Number of passes: 10
Avg. 60': 2.248
Avg. 1/4 Mile ET: 14.472
Avg. 1/4 Mile MPH: 97.581

Lost .076 of second in the first 60' but only lost .029 at the stripe. Picked up a whole mile per hour. Even in the much worse weather conditions it's clearly making a lot more horsepower in the upper RPM range, but looks like it lost low end torque.

Obviously a tune most likely would not only get the low end back but also improve the horsepower gains even more. However, I think I am going to go with the Jac-Fab Intake Spacer first. I really want the tune to be the very last step.

To be honest with you, I want to get the wheels first just because they would look better and faster... And probably improve the ET the most. Seriously.

But now, knowing what I've learned, I'm probably going to remove the mufflers, then get the JacFab spacer until I can afford the cat back Magnaflow system.

I put the "axle back" Magnaflow on my 2015 and had no difference in the ET at all. As a matter of fact I raced with less fuel (80 lbs lighter according to the track scale) and ran the exact ET to the hundredth, that my TAG weatherstation predicted using the old information...14.551 @ 96.03 @ 4005 lbs....96 degrees - 37% humidity - 30.10 Baro - +2463 DA..(Englishtown, NJ after Nationals)...against a prediction of 14.558. The sound was better, which is why I had them installed, but performance did not improve at all, so I'd go with the wheels first also.

Don't forget to take out the spare and the jack.

That is something that I did not due and my car has the optional spare and jack ($150 option) so I will get around to that after the issue with the "used" Solo HFC gets resolved. On your car, did you have the spare tire or the air pump kit?

I made a new video that you can hear better. My editing software wasn't working so its uncut straight from the camera. My setup has changed a bit since the last one also. I found a magnaflow catback kit for half price on Amazon so I pulled the trigger.
