Headlights

The headlights on my 2010 camaro are woeful!

Anyone upgraded bulbs/lights with decent success?

My SS/RS HIDs are pretty awful too. I've read that the housings can suffer over time, and also the bulbs intensity can dimmer over the years too.

Plus I have a dim HALO on passenger side. So I either need a new passenger headlight, new bulbs, or I might just go aftermarket set.

Annoying... :(

I just have the original from the RS HID lamp. They won't fit non HID. As I have all singing and dancing RGB I don't need them.

Including board? Will PM! Thanks!

I've also ordered 6000K HID bulbs, as mine are 7 years old and I suspect they are dying. Fingers crossed this improves them. If not, it's £70 for spares, but worth having anyway. GM ones were $120 each, but these from Diode Dynamics were cheaper, for a pair!

The LED sits on a hexagonal board. You will need to remove the bumper and headlamp. Then fiddle with a long thin torx screwdriver and get the old one out. Do a little wiring join and refit it all. Also check your headlamp aims, they could just be set to low. The HID's pretty good.

Something like this is a straight upgrade for the non HID lamp. They are normally miles better than stock, a brighter, whiter light.
