I understood this way before I was ever told the paddle shifters would make the car faster. I've made around a hundred passes down the dragstrip in my car, and have tried every possible way to launch/drive it down the dragstrip.

I found my old tuner's statements ridiculous/hilarious, which was why I titled this thread "Just Absolutely Ridiculous".

What's even more ridiculous/hilarious is him stating the car shouldn't get any gain from removing 110 lbs. of stationary weight, and 36lbs of rotational weight. I guess the laws of physics don't apply to 5th gen Camaro's.

My tuner put in a fti 3600 stall in my 2013 zl1 and told me if I didn’t like the shift points he would change them for me. I enjoy the car much better now but thinking of swapping in a th400 for more fun.
