The other equally important reason I wish to disable the drl's is due to installing hid headlights. The bcm programming is a reality just need to wait for the person to go to market with it. I know he posts on other sites and can indeed do a delete in the bcm of drl and add other cool functions. He def seems to know his stuff.

There was a guy selling kits on here to make your lights do what ever you wanted. i forget his name but he is no longer a sponsor. i have the kit here waiting to go in. I can turn on/off my drl anytime with a remote. i cannot wait to get rid of drl in the daytime and see if they hepl by being on at night.

They are wired the same as the Silverado. On my USA sold trucks I just snipped the green wire on the back of the light switch. Cancelled the spring line circut to the BCM.

You should be able to buy the USA switch and then wire IT like a USA car ? Then you can control them like they do.
