It's official, we will be strapping down on the same dyno that we were on for the last BBK meet.

BBK is cooridinating with DynoJet to get the issue with the computer fixed and will have it up in time for us to spin the big wheel. I took their other dyno for a spin today and it was within 1.5% of the other dyno's numbers my car put down at the last cruise, but it is a much larger PITA to get cars on and off then the floor unit.

I've been able to coordinate having a 2011 Mustang 5.0 that will be on hand and WILL DYNO on the same dyno that we are using so we will all be able to see first hand exactally how the Camaro measures up against the new 5.0. I was going to be evil and not let you guys/gal's in on the fact that it's already met the modding bug, but I just can't do that to you guys.

This Mustang is coming fully equipped with the basic bolt on's that most will be running on the street. The car is equipped with BBK Long Tube headers and a BBK CAI. It will be the first car across the dyno, followed by an exactally equipped 2010 Camaro SS sporting the LS3. Both car's will be equipped with parts made by the same manufacture, on the same dyno within minutes of each other. This should be the closest thing to a direct compairison that we will see.

I'll post up the map of where to meet in Temecula. We will depart the Promonade Mall in Temecula at 9:10am to get to BBK and parked by 9:30am. There will be a quick tour of the facility and then the noise will begin.

Due to the difficulty in getting cars on/off he second dyno, and the fact that it is so close to the other dyno, we will only be using the floor dyno we used at the last meet.

Last meet I was at 378/378 on the floor dyno, Tuesday I was at 373/373 on the other dyno. Not a huge difference between the two considering I've put over 10k miles on the car since the last meet.

Is the dyno free? My dad has a 69 camaro and we have no clue what its pulling I might be able to convince him to go. As long as it not on my Mom's birthday I can't remember if it is that day or the 12

This event is for the 5th gens (dyno part) but you are more than welcome to bring it out and I can take you to a local shop with a dyno so you can set up a few pulls with them if you're interested. After our last event they did dyno an Escalade and a Dodge Dakota r/t. I can't promise anything, but the best way to find out is show up.
