Need DIY for gen5 LS foglight conversion
I am awful with car electronics, and was wondering if anyone can post a walk through of installing the harness. I understand its just a plug and play, but a set of directions would be extremely helpful. Thanks!

Do you have the OEM harness, the PnP harness from Ofer or a aftermarket harness? Here is a couple pics for a aftermarket harness. Let me know

Step 1: Remove the 3 torx screws securing the wheel well liners to the front bumper on each side, this will allow access to backside of the bumper
Step 2: Remove the bumper plugs, by releasing the tabs and pulling out the backside of the bumper Step 3: Install the foglamp thru the front of the bumper and ensure that the 3 mounts snap in tight Step 4: Install the foglamp bezel from the front side of the bumper. Step 5: Locate the wire harness on the passenger side of the bumper where the body harness plugs into the bumper harness. Step 6: Disconnect this connector and put our connector inline, and reattach. Step 7: Plug the foglamp wires into the lamps Step 8: Connect the ringed terminal wire to the stud in the underhood fuseblock. See photo for stud location Step 9: Switch installation: Run the single wire from the relay, into the car and find a suitable location to mount the switch. Connect the wire to the center terminal of the switch. Run the other 2 wires from the switch over to drivers side fuse block. Remove fuse #F17 (power outlet 1) from the fuse block and install it into the empty cavity on the add-a-fuse, then connect the add-a-fuse into F17. Install the ringed terminal wire to a good ground. Step 10: Secure the relay up and out of the way with ziptie's Step 11: Verify function: Should be able to turn lights on and off with switch when vehicle is running. P.S. there on the site in the Installation Instructions tab. |

My son just bought a 2013 and the lights are installedbut not activated,no harness. Where can we get the harness alone and what do they cost? Is there a stock connector that the harness taps into the system? There is no seperate fog light control switch on his headlight switch, like my 2010, so assume they tap into a stock connector and are on whenever the headlights are on?
Thanks
