So I have been getting low oil pressure and the check gauges light lately

LOL....It as the oil sending unit......Bout as short as it gets

GM put the sending unit on the LT1’s in a ****ed up place!!!! It’s not much better on the LS1’s, it behind the intake manifold so if I have to change it I need to pull the engine.

Yep. But a little easier to get to then the LS engines
