Pearl, rotofab is the company that makes that engine cover(s). $500. I might get a IOM done.

Darth: Hopefully you have your VIN now. Seems CamaroTracking is a bit backed up, my update this morning said "Ready To Ship From Osh", however the date is 03/05/10. The date of my VIN was 03/03/10 but I didn't get it until 03/06. Hoping both of us get one that says "Shipped" tomorrow!

Oh, for those I was talking with about the 100,000th on Saturday....it is a dealer car, to a dealership in California. Seems they're one of the dealerships that's known to gouge people on prices.....wonder if that car will ever leave the lot.

Ahh that'll be interesting to see. No new updates for my order today, but I'll have to check the dates when something actually comes through. Would be sweet if all along mine's been on the same train

I also have my build sheet and all other docs and window stickers from the dealer. My Salesman was really good about making sure I got it all.

Also if you don't want a front plate, let them know that now before they prep the car.

I also have all my papers that shipped with the car. I am going to frame them all and hang them in the garage.

I didnt even think about asking the dealer. Mine is a lot car, just wanted to get in a drive it. I didnt even give the saleman time to explain some of the options, kinda pushed him out of the car and took off

Pro Tint is going to do my tint and clear bra. They do a lot of work for dealership as well as UHP.

I don't have clear bra but pro tint did the tint on my HHR SS. They're good. The guy was able to tint the car with one hand as he talked on his cell phone the entire time!

Pro-tint did mine as well. Here are my tips for the black car though: I had them do the front, the ground effects and behind the wheels (only on the bottom, it does not come up on the body at all). I also ended the clear bra on the seams of the car. For example, it does not come up on the hood. The tiny rock mark I did get, would have missed the clear bra on the hood anyway.

My dealer guy went with my car, but I also stopped by to make sure everyone was on the same page as to where I wanted the clear bra.

Remember you will see some slight imperfections against the black paint, especially at first until it shrinks. Even still there are some imperfections that I don't think can be avoided.

I really like the guys a Pro-tint. My car was the first Camaro that they did. At the time, they said they wanted to get it out fast as everyone kept coming to look at it.
