I ordered a 2SS yesterday from current allocation. My dealer estimated it would arrive in 8-12 weeks. He pointed out that it depends on the color batch and a host of other factors, but he seemed confident 12 weeks would be on the far end. If I get my car between July 1st and September 30th, I'll be happy.

So if the dealer has allocations left and i order then it should take approx 4-6 weeks assuming no strange options requested or weird things happen lol ?

Dealers I have been to around the NYC suburbs have said 2 to 3 months at least for people who order it now. Unless you want to pay $5,000 above sticker you can have a car tommorrow and it will most likely not have all the specs you want.

I think once production speeds up it will be less, so you may see it in that time. Good luck to you.

I placed order 3/20/09. Moved quickly to 3000 code and have been there since 3/26/09. So 7 weeks so far. It's crap shoot. I feel for the pre order guys, but not enough to give my spot up. They are the ones who are truely taking it by the short hairs.

I ordered one today and they said that GM would probably not even accept the order until early fourth quarter so Oct or Nov maybe...very nice Christmas present at worst. Always a possibilty for sooner but I doubt it.

I talked to a dealer today in Knoxville, TN. They have a black on black vin 610 that the buyer hasn't picked up yet and if not picked up by wednesday it would be up for sale.
