How long will i wait for a 2SS if I order tomorrow ?

I would be putting down whatever deposit say 1k ? and paying 20-25k downpayment when they get the car in. Any idea how long I would probably have to wait ?
Thanks

I spoke to a dealer in Concord NH and they said 6 weeks from the day you order it from the factory.

they are just making it up they will drag you until december. If you are in a hurry look at another car.

Don't think they would make something like that up. If they did, then I would go to another dealer and they would lose my business. I work in sales and lying never works in the end.

Try it but please keep in mind this are not sales, they are used car sales tactics common and specially dyeing struggling GM desperate sales people look at the current camaro pre orders and you will see the tendency I'm still waiting and when the car comes in they will probably change the contract.

Not trying to hijack guys, this might be a REALLY stupid question, but I have never pre-ordered a car before.

Is the financing done at the time of pre-order, or at the time of pick up?

I want to order one, but my money wont be right for a few months since I am currently interning to get my Paramedic license and having to take days off of work, My dealer said 12-14 weeks so that would give me more than enough time to get a hefty 10K down payment with some overtime... thanks for the help

Nope! You don't complete paperwork untill the car has shown up. As far as the wait, it will depend on your dealers allocations as to when it will get built and delivered!

On Tues of this week I spoke with the owner of a Gm dealership. He said if you ordered one today it would take a minimum of seven months. He figures they are going to start running two and maybe three shifts due to the demand for the car

It is possible Chappy, but it will depend on that dealers allocation which is a very complicated process. They might be able to get you one in 6 weeks if they have unused allocation and the model you want does not currently have any constaints.

I agree with Matster. I ordered ours 2 weeks ago this coming Monday. Dealer stated it would take 6-8 weeks. The car is already at 3000 and I should be getting an update on the 14th at 2pm.
