After i am done with my build. i will be right around 9.7:1 CR.
Yes the more you lower CR, the safer you are running more boost. But that also has the reverse affect that the car looses power when not in boost. So race application you can go lower, but being a street car that i most likely will DD. Its good to have slightly higher compression. When i am done i will be running around 14-16psi on the street and 18-20psi @ the track. Should be fun to say the least.

9:1 here, but my motor is purpose built for racing, not a street driver at all.

Im at about 9.4:1 with -23cc Wiseco coated blower pistons. At least the CR i calculated to to be with 70cc chambers. I run Torco Accelerator blended with 93 octane for an in tank octane of about 95-96 octane plus the meth during summer. Car was tuned with meth turned off.
Im only 14psi now on my little D1SC but am about to pull the trigger on twin PTE6766 turbos running up the boost to 18 or so and a little over 1000rwhp. Just a street car that was built to run down ZO6s and ZR1s on the road course a couple times a year

9.7:1 but if I could go back I would do 10:1.

How much boost are you going to run? What octane fuel? Using meth?

9.7:1 for pump gas at 12 lbs on the street with 97 octane... With 429 CI, this is good for right at 900 RWHP
Racing we bump the boost to 25 lbs and run C16 race fuel... in the tank and to mix with the nitrous...With the 429 CI, this makes for a hell of a lot more power....
