Stiff suspension - 3-wheel action

Who need hydraulics? This unibody car is stiff, like "call-your-doctor-after-4-hours" stiff:

Every time I pull into my driveway, the car gets up on 3 wheels. I know the car has a tight suspension, but what I wanted to ask was: does this amount of suspension travel look right? I doesn't look like more than a couple of inches. It's no Ford Raptor, but shouldn't there be a little more than that?

I traded in my 12 45th RS for my 13 1LE. Went down to OH to pick it up a few months ago because I'd been looking specifically for a 13 2SS RS 1LE with under 1,500 miles forever. Long story short, found it, bought it and babied it all the way home, pulled into my driveway and heard this horrifying noise. My wife jumped out because i was too heartbroken to see what I had done to my splitter. She started laughing when she got out of the car. It was not the splitter at all, it was the rear right tire spinning almost in the air. So ya, no suspension travel here, very much unlike my 12 RS

I know the sound.. like a huge scraping crunch. happens to me almost every time I pull into my driveway. took me a while to realize it was the wheel coming off the ground.

Nice, if you ever need to change a rear tire you know where to park.

It's normal with a stiff chassis/suspension. Definitely freaks people out! haha!

Yup, get unintended one wheel tirespin all the time going up ramps and such. Probably happens mostly to 1LE and ZL1 owners

Same here at the office parking garage. The day after I picked it up. Pulling into the garage and screeech, grrind, whatever it sounded bad! Thought I'd broke something. Had to give it a good once over! Second time in had friend watch and yep tire off the ground

Sounds sooo familiar, ha ha! I get a little wheel spin every time I pull in to my driveway too and though something was broke at first.
