The weight is most likely negligible. The differences between the 1SS and 2SS is that the 2SS has everything the 1SS does, plus the following;

Boston Acoustics® premium 9-speaker 245-watt audio system
Bluetooth® for phone, personal cell phone connectivity to vehicle audio system
Cargo convenience net
Driver Information Center (DIC) compass
Four-pack gauges mounted on center console: oil pressure, battery voltage, oil temperature andmtransmission fluid temperature
Inside auto-dimming rearview mirror
Body-color power-adjustable heated mirrors (auto dimming on driver side)
Wireless PDIM (for use of steering-wheel controls with auxiliary device)
Remote vehicle starter system (with automatic transmission)
Leather-appointed front seat trim with SS embroidery
Heated driver and front passenger seats
Steering-wheel-mounted audio controls
Universal Home Remote
USB port

Nothing there screams overweight options. If we were talking one being a convertible, that would be a different story.

Yeah I don't doubt what you say at all. Only thing I know for sure is that all the 5.0s just automatically assume they will demolish me and I always end up beating them.

I Didn't know if mine being lighter factored in there. Obviously not, now that you have corrected me.

Eh, after doing a bit of research I still think my car is 100lbs lighter than most of the fully loaded 2SS running around.

All the gadgets you mentioned, the sunroof, and HIDs and my car is around 100lbs lighter. Not the crazy amount I was thinking at first, but also not the negligible amount you made it out to be.

Not to mention I am not just comparing 1SS to 2SS. I am comparing MY car which has the bare minimum options; no sunroof, halogen lights, etc..

I see you're in TN.

I got a buddy that shit-talks non-stop about how all the Camaro's he races and that show up at The Hill aka Music City Raceway, are slow.

He's run a best of 7.95 in the 1/8 mile with nothing but CAI, o/r X pipe, a pieced together catback and mail order tune.

Let's meet up one day and run him. My junk, I have no clue what it runs with the new mods I have. My best was a 8.5 1/8 and 13.1 1/4 run in sport mode. Mods were Vararam and Corsa ctaback no tune on the L99.

I'm running catless now with Cold Air Inductions intake + JRE scoop and still sorting out my tune.

The Kooks stuff in my sig is on order, so not installed yet.

The reason I ask about your trap speed. Is the GT350 intake mentioned as a mod in the first post. Turns the coyote into a top end screamer. It also allows the car to pull to 8000RPM when tuned for the intake. Any roll race would be playing right into the GT350 intakes advantage.
What do you think my tub could have ran if I would have been able to cut a decent 60ft, like a 1.7 or better? 2.03 60ft 8.28@88.55 mph and 12.65@155.44 with a 2200 d/a. Weight was 3960lbs with me and about 1/3 tank and I was on a 80k mile stock clutch and new Pirelli P-Zero tires in stock size. The trap speed tells me it had 11s in it with good traction.

With that trap speed it should be a lot lower than 11's.

Hard to tell man you really picked it up on the big end. But in perfect conditions. Negative DA. I'd guess you'd be in the 11.7-11.9 range. Trapping in the 116-118 range.

Umm 12.65 @ 155.44 is that a typo or do we need to see the time slip??

I made a 30mph roll hit with a new 5.0/M6 car this past weekend on the street - his request. I put a gap on before I was done with third. He's probably stock, or close to it. No idea if he has driver mod.

My stuff certainly isn't that fast - but not every Coyote I've run into was either. They sure do seem to make good trap speed.

Ive raced my buddies 2011 more times then I can count....top of 2nd into 3rd those cars pull hard. He was stock except a cai and was trapping 113. Im thinkig the driver you beat may not of been as good as you.

That's certainly possible - I figured I was in for a loss when accepting a roll race. I've certainly seen what you describe, the top of third is wild in those cars. I'm pulling third a lot better now too, with the 4.10's. Gears certainly make a big difference, really wakes the car up.
