I still haven't received all of my parts for my kit but noticed the vacuum line that steps down to the diverter valve leaks. So your DV valve might not be staying open. I permatexed the joint until I find a better way during the install (if i get my parts and install it)

active chiller

Hi DB,
Just found your post today....well I just received my active chiller kit yesterday. This from placing the order the 1st week of July 2018. Finally told Dave that if it did not ship by 1/30...I wanted my deposit back. He contacted me on 1/28 to say all is ready to go. So pay the rest. Took another week to ship. I then get an email that he "should" be shipping the other box Monday. Emailed him 3 times, left two voicemails with not response. Kit arrived with no instructions either. I am starting to question my purchase. But he is the only person that makes this kind of kit for my 2008 Cadillac XLR-V. Lets try to keep each other in the loop regarding "last box shipping" and installation. Even though we have different vehicles the basic installation is the same. Good luck to ya.

I had to call and email requesting instructions. He emailed them to me.

Me and three other guys all bought Dave's system around the same time and we started a group text to help each other out. We were able to help each other much more than Dave helped us and all became friends through it.
The system is fine, Dave... I hope he's ok

I talked to Dave about 2 weeks ago about a 3/4" diverter bypass. Guess he is making something up, but I have not heard back.

Australian FI Inter Chiller cost more, but is engineered way better and comes with a color picture instruction manual and their stage 2 upgrade is in a league of it's own with negative temps in 70 deg weather or 20 deg IAT in 100 deg weather.

I waited over a year for Dave to get me a system, everytime I contacted him it was always 2 weeks away so I gave up and went with FI's system and I'm glad I did.

So to get better cooling you have to buy the chiller plus the stage 2 upgrade? Then for inside the car all you have is a toggle switch to run it with or without the cabin AC?

So now the diverter valve is doing its job. I pulled over a few time with the AC on/off and chiller on/off and the valve was opening and closing.
You should contact us for support

There is no Chiller On/Off
Diverter Valve is always open
There is no Chiller Bypass
Digital Controller should be set around 80*

These threads are because people try to contact you unsuccessfully Dave. Personally I have tried to call you, text you and email you and received no response on any of them. I was looking to make another purchase from you. I moved on...

The stage 1 will cool your ZL1 inlet temps down to 35-40 deg in 100 deg weather which is very good, I have a jackshaft TVS2300 which doesn't cool as good as yours or the newer TVS2300/2650 due to the poor intercooler brick design it uses, you really don't need the stage 2 unless you want the very best performance and race a lot.

So I have the wiring figured out now. System seems to run flawless once you get the digital controller set up.
Seems like more my problem was that the intercooler pump was taking a crap and not moving the water, so the water was heating up.

Can't wait for my new pump and seeing those low low IAT's
