More Problems....

My sisters clapped out 94 Z28 is driving me nuts. After romping on it a little, the car wants to wind out every gear to about 3500rpm, wont downshift into passing gear at highway speeds, and throws on the service engine light for about 10 seconds after WOT and then disappears. The transmission is an autozone reman, has all new ignition (wires, plugs, optispark, etc.), and drove fine beforehand. Has anyone experienced anything like this? Or is my sister just bad luck? lol

That sounds horrible. I would take it back to autozone, surely there is some warranty on it

Any missing vacuum lines? It sounds like the transmission doesn't understand what the throttle is trying to tell it to do.
