Disappointed in not being able to attend.

It hurts so much not to have been there this weekend. Because if the storms from last week and the damage it caused, my funds were unavailable to make the trip. I had been looking forward to this since it was announced it was going to be in Bowling Green. Seems like every time one is close to me crap like this happens just before the Fest.
I am glad everyone is having a great time and I look forward to someday being able to attend.
Take care everyone.
Tim

I feel ya. We wanted to go, only about a 7 hour trip taking our time, made some tentative plans to go, and then we had a guy quit on us this past month. As usual, WORK gets in the way again. ARRRGH!! Few more years to retirement and work won't stop us then.

Maybe not work , but I'm sure something else will , like your kids need a break and they are bringing the dogs and or their little kids ( your grandchildren ) to ( visit ) you , while they go on a weeklong well deserved vacations to the Bahamas
What will be you saying to them , NO ?
I want to see that too!

I feel for ya! We live in Kentucky and couldn't make it. I run a business and I actually made plans to go on Friday. We would've had to leave at 4am. From 6-12am, I would've needed to be available to be on the phone. Then, we would have to leave by 8pm to get home before 1am. In the end, it just wasn't worth it. I couldn't get the whole weekend off and trying to cram it all into one day turned into a headache. Maybe next year.
