Did your wife drive an automatic or a stick? I know that in my car, I have the seat closer to the steering wheel than I would like to be because I have to push the clutch in all the way to change the gears. In my son's Mustang, I don't have to sit as close because it's an automatic.
In the past, I had clutches with cables and you had to push the clutch in all the way. Is that even necessary with a hydraulic clutch?

I'm short and I see fine, it is weird having seat all the way up, I don't need it up that much. You get used to it.

The wife is 5' even and just cranks the seat all the way up. She has no problems, but has told me that I can't put a taller hood on the car. She does end up sitting real close to the steering wheel which scares the hell out of me, but she loves the car and it was what she wanted.

I have a 2010 and my Mom always has to bring a cushion to see out. She is about 5'3".
She complained the first couple of times until she started bringing her cushion. I don't supply the cushion! With that bit of information, I only date women that are at least 5'8" so I don't hear any complaints. In my 1967 SS/RS Camaro, I've had no complaints of seeing out. |

I'm 5'3" and I agree, get the power seat. It makes a lot of difference.

i don't think the LS comes with power seats. you really need the power seat to raise it up. i am 5'1" and i don't have any isssues with the seat all the way up but when i sit in the passenger seat i can't see without sitting on a cushion

How U Doin?

My fiancé is 5'1" and she has to have the seat as high as it goes and up close too. She's driven it a handful of times and didn't seem to have too many issues with it. I do know she'd take a Mini Cooper any day over the Camaro though.
