Oh yes! To buy all the RS stuff, would cost much more than $1200. It would also add to the resale value to the car. The roof ditch moldings, the halos, the HIDs, the Midnight Silver 20" wheels, and the darker tail lights. Go for it!!!

If you're going to get a Camaro, get the works (2SS/RS).

You'll be glad you did in the long run.

Thank you for your service.

Hello! New to the forum...have found this place to be very helpful. Currently own an RS/LT auto and I'm looking to add the aux gauges - anyone in the Chicagoland area know where I can get it installed? I've called several dealers and they're all useless - they have told me that sensors/wires need to be installed which contradicts what I've read here in the forums.

The headlights alone are worth it. And when you go to get your new wheels, they should buy the 20" stock rims off you for a decent price. I got an offer for $900 from a local wheel shop.

They're really easy to install. I did them myself. Hardest part is getting the lighter to disconnect.

On a iSS all you need is a set of RS tail lights $100-125, a can of paint for your roof ditches $25 including the clearcoat. The headlights are getting cheaper every day. This is provided that you can't stand your car looking stock. Some of us don't think the headlamps are that big a deal'
To each his own, theres No correct answer. (IMO anyway)

You are absolutely right, I actually like the regular headlights like the ones on my LT, ya the price of the lights alone are worth getting the RS, but then again you have to actually like them, I don't, but that is just my personal taste, if I had the halo lights I would have ended up just trading them straight across with someone in here for the stock headlights anyways. I dont believe in paying extra for lights when the car already comes with a pair. I'm not hating on those with the halos I am just saying it isn't my taste, it seems to me that EVERYBODY has those halo lights, its great to see the Camaros with the regular lights every so often.
The wheels? na not into them, I like the ones I have just fine, they are all the same size and won't break the bank when I get new tires, they have plenty of grip, and they ride nice as well.

I' m also in the minority, because I bought (ordered) a black 2ss w/o RS. I couldn't see paying $1200 for upgraded headlights (plus I really don't care for the BMW inspired halos). I just replaced the yellow halogens with bright white SilverStars for $35.

I would like to have the HIDs, but wouldn't pay more than $300 for them.

The only way I'd get the RS is if I was getting a V6 - then it makes sense to me (to get the 20's and spoiler)
