Damn how bad is the vibration? I changed out the motor mounts on my previous car to some urethane ones and boy did it vibrate bad below 2k RPM. Honestly, I liked it but not so much my passengers. They kept saying that it felt like my motor was going to drop out.

Well I'm not sure what all you have got off but with the header out of the way and both motor mounts loose I carefully use a screw jack and a piece of wood to lift the motor just enough to get either side out.

Hope this helps!

I got them in! The drivers side was a mutha f...
Still finishing the front Pro bushuing kit but the mounts are done after sitting in my garage for 2 months.

Do you like the results of the tranny mount upgrade and is it a lighter mount than stock?

Looks good man! I haven't driven my car yet. It has been down for awhile. I have built a return fuel system along with a ton of other things. The car should be running possibly as early as tomorrow but definitely early next week.

Hey just an update on these... I had to call the manufacturer about space above lower bushing because the vibration at low speed was so harsh. I thought the mount assemblies had loosened allowing for more movement of the engine block. Turns out they have a recall on the older mount sets because the original designed bushing was to soft.

They sent me the stiffer bushings which were noticeably more firm when squeezing in my hand from the set I just removed. Installed and did a better job of tightening mount bolt to insure the engine block was set in firmly with no gaps between the bushings and washers. Drove in to work today and the vibration was much less harsh and only unpleasantly noticeable at low speeds and low throttle when the AFM kicks the engine into 4 cylinder mode. Will tighten one more time when I get back home but now I know why the stock mounts were so bulky and dense to tune out the reverberation from 4 cylinder mode...

I guess its time to tune....

So how much vibration did you get? I did solid mounts on my previous car and it shakes bad. But it firmed up the transmission and makde it easier to shift fast it prevented the transmission and.engine from moving around. Same experience with these?
