Sounds like to me that you should.
For as much as I hate the refresh you seem to like it.
I only wish this would've happened before the refresh, then they wouldn't have euro the rear of the Camaro out and I would've gotten the new Z28.

Sorry but I think the re-fresh is great and it gives the Camaro new life.

How do you figure the refresh 'failed'? Sales are up by roughly a thousand units (on average) per month since July vs last year. How can you consider that to be a failure? Or is it just one of those "I don't like this so FAIL!!11!!" kinda things?

And I also don't get the 'euro influence' comment. The front end looks meaner (not something I'd consider to be a European trait) and the tail lights are based off those from the 2nd gen. I guess you could argue that the 2nd gen as a whole was 'European inspired' or whatever marketing term GM wanted to ascribe to it. But thats getting a little thin in my book. And the taller rear diffuser simply 'is', I don't see that as being tied to any region of the world. But on the whole, the changes make the car look lower & wider -which is a very American design aesthetic.

If you don't like it, fine. Nobody says you have to.

Fair enough. I think some of the refresh was directly related to the Z/28 aerodynamic changes, but it can be argued that there were some European influences to make it more globally attractive.

That said, I'm not a fan of what Ford has done with their 50th anniversary Mustang; it's obvious that they are designing for the global market. Global design might mean higher sales, but it ends up in a mish-mosh of everyone's style; and it's a fact that different regions of the world have different tastes/styles.

I think this will be a good thing for Chevrolet brand in the USA. Oh the good ol' days... American workers making American vehicles for Americans.

Umm ... did I miss something?

Where are all these euro muscle cars that need to stop being made?

and secondly, what does that have to do with GM closing out the bulk of its European Chevrolet options?

Apparently you did miss something, did you not read the very first post by the OP? and im talking about all this euro influenced crap that the auto makers are doing, it seems like there is a trend going on now where they are making vehicles with subtle euro styling trying to pacify a "world" market instead of an "American" market, and if they keep going this route in the coming years that our vehicles will look more european and lose alot of the american appeal.

Why do you trash europe like some of you do? Its an global economy, we cant exist without each other whether you think thats a good are bad thing doesn't mather! Just deal with it! Im going to treasure my new camaro and enjoy it! And i bet that when its time for the gen6 i will be able to buy that to at my local chevy dealer! Cant we just get along?

I am not bashing european countries in any way, so I apologize if anyone thinks so. Im just talking about the appeal of our vehicles, europe and america have always had their own standards when It comes to vehicles, good or bad. I just feel that if we continue to try and pacify a world market that it will affect the appeal to certain vehicles.I dont think that we should stop sending american cars to european countries, but to just stop trying to conform to european styling

Its hard for me to explain what im trying to say in text form
