Hey guys! I'm new to the forums, I don't own a camaro yet but am buying one when I get back from Afghanistan in a few months.

I'm just wondering if the RS package is worth the extra cash. Seems like all it really adds is 20" wheels and HID lamps, but since I'm going to put on custom rims anyway, what's the point?

I am also thinking about getting the body-painted ground effects package and raised spoiler, opinions?

Yes! The lights are not a cheap aftermarket mod. I looked at some that were 700+ a side not a set....

Yes, IMO, worth it.
HID lights are 1) cool to look at 2) awesome vision at night,much brighter than regular
20" tires are PZERO summer performance tires and are pricey on their own.
if you have the coupe the roof ditch is car colour painted and not black.

I think it is get it up front and be done so you can start with the important mods

I think so. I love my HIDs. Even tho I have covers, when they r on, its too cool.

I just had to have the RS package. It was the one thing I would not budge on.

The RS package was also the main option I wanted ! If you don't het it you'll regret it later . IMO .. Hope you get your Camaro when you return and be safe !

rs package mandatory. SS also mandatory for returning vets. re enlisting before leaving a tax free zone highly recommended.

It's a must. You've been deployed overseas and put in harms way on a daily basis. Write the check, spend the money, you deserve it. Thanks for your service.

I did not get the option as I knew I was going to go with aftermarket rims... wish I would have now.

Yeah, I love the SS. Not gonna re-up again though, 6 years is enough for me lol... time to make some real money.
