Lightbulb Break-in

But I just got my 2012 Camaro RS with 50 miles and i want to break it in correctly. Should i not floor the car for a couple thousand miles? im babying her for now but will that be any help in the future for my motor or should i give it some power to break it in. please let me know how you feel. and i understand this is corny but if you spend 33,000 on your car you would want to break it in right too.
Thanks to all who respond

Not homo at all, just a fresh case of CamarOCD setting in Here's how a few others have done it. I took it easy the first 1500 miles and it's just been getting better and better - at 25k now still running problem free.

IBTL!!!

I went pretty easy on mine for a little while, but sure enough, she just wouldn't hold back any longer...You'll know when it's time to let her go...

I was very easy on mine for the first 500 miles (wouldn't do over 55), then was (relatively) easy on it through 1500. After that it was game on...

No problems since!

I am breaking mine in currently. Plan is to drive it at variable rpms (city driving) for the first 3500km and avoid constant rpms drives (highway drives especially long ones). After that, I'm going to drive it like Camaros are meant to be.

Ill be giving her an oil change early, around 4000km, and flush out any small metal pieces from the break-in process.

I'm not sure why wanting to break in an engine would sound "homo". Please explain?

Nah he meant homo like "homogenized" not "liking men"

Vary your speed and have fun.

Maybe just not driving it hard from the start like a "real man"? I dunno, breaking it in seems like a good idea.
