I like everybody is talking like the Z-28 is coming back. There no mention of it and GM actually shoots it down. I am a GM diehard all ive ever drive, would have liked to see the new TA but I love my camaro. The thing with the Z-28 is this. To make the car more than just a badged SS with a few different rocker panels or something, the car would need a different motor and such. To make it right the car would cost 50k, and would drive the majority away from it(GT 500 affected by camaro yes, but has not been a huge hit because of the price). There are enthusiast like our selves that would jump on that only accounts for a small percent of the market. Thats what got GM in trouble in the first place they had so many lines for all these different interest but did not see enough to make a profit. I would have to say i agree to a point they had way to many cars out there. From now on you are going to see few cars that appeal to the masses.

...which leaves "opportunities" for "Second Stage" upfitters (with Manufacturer assistance/support/sanction) and outright "aftermarket" (no formal affiliations) operations.
