I see from your other thread you've replaced everything. Make sure both fans are coming on as well. I had an issue where the clip on the connector came off the passenger side fan and was causing me to over heat when stopped. How does the heat do when your moving? Fluid topped off and reserve full?

Coolant temp reaches to 228 Fº, fan kicks on, but a 40% or less speed.. Now, the temperature climb to 242 Fº and then the right fan kicks on 100% speed for a whiile, and temps slowly drops until 239 Fº and then the fan starts working back to 40%. I guess that my fan it will be at 100% speed in 230 Fº or less not it 242 Fº. Today the car will be in shop to tune the fan speeds |

https://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=509389 That could probably be applied to running the high speed fans as well, but I haven't looked into how you'd wire that. What are the ambient temperatures like where you live?

My temperature in my city its 78 Fº to 95 Fº
The mechanic just called me to comment that he couldn't connect my Camaro to the HP Tuners. He told me that he has to send an email somewhere in the USA as something was wrong with the PCM and could not be modified my fans yet |

I'm starting to lean toward a bad fan/wiring issue.

Its there a possibility to to turn the fans on at a temperature below 228Fº without having to access HP Tuners?
Something like adapting a temperature bulb to the radiator and when temperatures reaches to 205Fº the fans kick on in high speed? |

I would suggest fixing the root problem, rather than trying to make the fans work differently than originally designed.

In my country there are no specialists in American cars (Camaro, Mustang, etc), the only one I found that had the HP Tuners tells me it can not connect, I get angry. He offers to flush and change my coolant with Valvoline Zerex (in bottle says GM recommended) and the cost are 60 U$, obviuously, without difference, stills hot. But I dont have coolant leak. If I do not find another that has the HP Tuners I will have to go to a bulb adaptation of temperature 210~195 Degree Engine Cooling Fan Thermostat Temperature Switch Sensor Relay Kit |

I called my mechanic and he told me that the HP TUNERS in New York told them (supposedly) that my Camaro has software problems, that it is broken or corrupted and that I have to take the dealer to install new software.
The concessionaires (dealers) do not attend Camaro in my country since they are imported cars. The mechanic offered me to use an interface that would mark the computer more hottest 50ºF to trick the computer into turning on the fan earlier, its possible that? |
