I was going to say keep the shiny side up, but I guess I'm too late.

I drove my ss 1le 4.5 hours to the dealer, that part was easy and comfortable..i cant say the same about the trip back home. The zl1 felt like i was driving a farm tractor due to the stiff suspension. It is definitely not a daily driver. It actually rides worse than my porsche GT3 with full track suspension.

Congrats on the upgrade! I'm actually looking to do the same if all things align. How did the dealer treat you on trade in if you don't mind me asking?

Congrats!! An absolute beast of a car!! I’m guessing by this thread though that the dealer became a little more generous with the trade offer on your 1le. I’m glad it worked out for you man.

This dealership was fair. They gave me $32k for my ss 1le with 4k miles and they gave a $2k discount on the new zl1 1le. No games and no bullshit ,just a fair deal.
I was just happy to get my hands on one after several dealers said that wont be getting an allocation.

Sounds fair. Best part is that you are happy with the deal, the car, and no games treatment. Now enjoy the crap out of it!
