Here is what my passenger side plasma led light did after 2 months.
The wires going to the plug are small, around 30 gauge or so. They break very easily. I fixed mine by stripping the wire down to the 20 gauge, then soldering it to the plug. |

I don't know why they use such thin wire. Mine let go where the thin wire is soldered to the male prong in the connector. I removed both prongs and resoldered them to the heavier gauge wire, cutting out all the thin wire. A week later my other bulb did the same thing so I fixed that one and figured all was good. Shortly after that, the other end of the wire where it connects to the back of the bulb housing broke. Tried to fix it but couldn't. I wish the bulb was re-designed so the plasma bulb didn't have the pigtail wires attached to them. Just have the factory connectory plug directly into the back of the bulb housing like the stock ones do.

The pigtail wires contain the resisters that protect the LEDs from the voltage flux. The voltage flux is what kills the regular P13W bulbs.

I think the resistors are built into the back of the bulb housing, not in the pigtails.

You will need a harness, get one from Fieldgoal he sells different types of set ups.

You basically have two options. You can get the standard LEDs which look amazing but more than likely will burn out unless you buy a harness because they didn't do their homework to discover the pulsing. Or you can get the Plasmas which are the wrong color (way too blue compared to the headlights) and apparently still have problems because they used cheap wiring. And before you say it, I know, I know...their customer service is awesome!

I didn't see from the OP, but also noticed that no one asked him if they are seated correctly in the harness. When I first got my plasmas they weren't and came out in about a month... not totally, and just by looking you won't notice. But, like I said, no one asked and he didn't mention if he checked... for me, it was a simple fix that if that's what is wrong is getting blown out of proportion here.

I messed with the light today.
It seems that the plug on the light does not "snap" or lock into into the vehicles harness. I believe this is where the problem is. The connector is slightly different than the stock bulb not allowing it to lock in. I pressed it together and it seems to be working but I will assume that over time the connector will loosen again, causing the light go out intermittently
