The 1LE is a handling/performance and appearance package.
M10 tranny
Mono Tube Shocks
Bigger sways
3.91 Gears
Dual mode exhaust
Short throw shifter (not the Hurst)

Appearance
The wrapped hood
20x10-11 forged wheels with 285s all around
Recaro's if equipped
Black SS spoiler

Can't think of anything else off the top of my head
Just look for the ZL1 or 1LE registry and it gets into P/N specifics.
A 1LE is a SS on steroids....

So your 1LE is somewhat special but it's still a SS at the end of the day.....

Thank God for all the people who actually KNOW the 1le is just an SS with a track pack. Like saying there's a huge difference between the 1ss and 2ss........

Wow.... at least Mustang drivers know a Gt is a Gt whether it does or doesn't have a track pack

Well I mean tell us more............looks to be a SS with track pack as stated hmm........you guys thought you bought a Zl1? Z28? WRONG!

While there are no changes to the SS' 6.2-liter V8 engine, the 1LE package brings unique gearing, suspension tuning, and tires that are said to help make the Camaro capable of returning more than 1 g of lateral acceleration and a sub-three minute lap time at Virginia International Raceway’s Grand Course.

I believe NPP was standard on the ZL1. It was an option for the Manual SS whether it has the 1LE Performance package or not.

Cloning shouldn't surprise anyone. Those of us that have older muscle cars can relate for sure. Anyone ever see a Malibu or Skylark from the muscle car era anymore? Nope...cuz their all cloned to Chevelles and Gran Sports.

Everyone is going way beyond the org. Post. It's not what the 1LE has but what it looks like on the outside, and not much different from the exterior when you compared to a standard SS non-1LE. Black hood wrap and black 1LE/ZL1 wheels? Which btw everyone and thier mother has those wheels, just like the Z28 wheels now.

WGAF, they copy the ZL1 too. Why should I care. I understand. You don't feel special anymore or superior anymore. Just enjoy your car, and don't worry about what others are doing with their's. This has been going on since cars have been around and it always will. After all, it's their car and their right to do whatever they want to it.

Dual mode was never an option on standard SS you had to get a 1LE or ZL1...

If a V6 is 16k then the dealership owes me another V6.
