It wasn't that long ago the GM guys were ripping Ford guys for running a supercharged motor in their performance cars and now GM has embraced that powertrain methodology. Is that any less hypocritical?

That's back when it took a blower to not even reach 400hp for ford and Chevy had it stock in the vette n/a. Nowadays its impossible to meet the HP levels n/a and meet emissions. The days of big power being 400hp are long gone.

It's too bad the LS6 was never put in the Camaro, at least for a production model.

I know alot of people said they were the same. I enjoyed "debating" with them lol helped pass the slow days at the office.

Just found this over at M6g http://www.mustang6g.com/forums/showthread.php?t=28285..... looks like the gt350r will weigh in at 3650 lbs.... they claimed a 130 lb weight saving from gt350 track pack to gt350r, so the lightest the gt350 TP will be is 3780 lbs

Then they were unrealistic idiots. It's no different that some who think the Gen6 SS is going to run low 12's in the quarter in factory stock trim.
