so any news on this yet, or is it just more hot air?

i guess the good thing about my predicament is that I'm looking for a supercharger for sometime in the future, not tomorrow so i can wait to see if any headway can be made with our motors. if not then I'll trade in my car when i graduate from school and get my balling job, lol. but i would just like to see that some kind of supercharger is out sometime soon so that way the future models will have all the "kinks" worked out of it

exhausts

hey guys, my budget for my headers/exhaust is around $1200 im spending 700 of that 1200 on headers which is known for its 33hp gain with 30 fpt. My first question would have to be; which brand or company of exhaust would best suit my 2010 v6 camaro, performance wise? and if it would be possible to receive a direct link to possible purchases for said exhausts around $550 and lower. This would be much appreciated.
ps: o and its gotta sound sick as well

Also would u be able to give me a basic hp/fpt gain from your upgrades?

You better do some research. When you say 33hp gain your obviously talking about the BBKs and saw their original youtube video. Sorry, but NO headers alone will give your car 33hp at PEAK. BBKs were recently dynoed and showed to gain about 21 hp / 15 TQ at PEAK rpms. That is still pretty nice, but way from 33. Now, down lower in the RPM range (say around 5,400 rpm) there is usually a bigger gain than at peak rpm when compared to stock.

My advice, unless you want something extremely loud, make sure you pair up the long tubes with an aftermarket exhaust known for having a good, low tone that isn't overly loud because LTs turn normal exhaust notes into firebreathers lol.

Please, if you haven't, check out my exhaust sticky thread which is located at the TOP of the V6 area. In there are tons of exhaust examples, and at the end of the post are cars with shorty headers and long tube headers.

i havent dyno'd my car but i can notice alot more power with the LT added on and the exhaust i have is MRT V1.0 it goes really well with the LT i dont think it adds performance but it drops alot of weight from ur car when u drop the stock muffler and sounds good check out the exhaust sticky thread and theres a video of my car under BBK longtube headers

yeah about the bbk headers, im going to call in to get the real specs or gains. Im sure they wouldn't lie about their gains, that would decrease their credibility, which is bad lol. Im going to call in and hopefully fill you guys in on the truth.

I'm confused as to why this conversation is taking place in a thread about superchargers....
