While this raffle is stated as "unlimited", most unlimited raffles sell from 8,000 - 20,000 tickets (our $10 Corvette raffles, that is). With this being a higher ticket price I'd anticipate it to be on the lower end of the range.

We offer a raffle about every other week or so - and they vary in odds and ticket price. Plus, even though a raffle is limited to say, 500 tickets, we have only 'sold out' a few times in recent years. We raffle the car regardless, so it just gives you even better odds!

We just found out from GM the mileage on the car, so that's why our description went from "a few miles" to a more accurate number. We also hope to have the car soon so we can put actual photos of it. The car will be street legal and able to be licensed.

You can keep in touch with us via our email list here: http://www.corvettemuseum.org/ncmenews/index.shtml

Thanks, again, for all of your support of the Museum and if your travels take you down I-65 through Kentucky - please stop in to see us!

Katie, any word on when you'll have pictures of the car?

Its not a prototype, its everything the other CTF cars are, just with a color thats not really offered. CTF vehicles have VIN plates.

With what the car is, and the fact that it's probably not running with any optional equipment; that car would be dead nuts on for the raffle car. Can kinda see why they didn't want to offer it before canceling the color altogether: Unlike Ashen Gray and Black the black accents don't mesh as well.

But it's unique, like the story of the Royal Bobcat Blue GTO.. I'd say this is about as close as someone could get to that car (the RBB Goat is a documented 1 of 1 CTF from the 60s, color never made it to production)

I'd say a certain few here would also probably want the tickets sold to be a low number because of the above statement: this car is quite an exclusive ZL1 and honestly if they didn't have enough cars already gone to the GM museum.

Or sold to Ken Lingenfelter to join his many Bitchin' Camaros/Birds/Goats/Vettes and the 3 or 4 foreign cars he 'mehs' at.

Oh no, I've bought some tickets. There wasn't any traffic in the thread. Just thought I'd stir it up a little to get some responses!

Anyone buy a ticket yesterday or today and know your ticket number? I bought mine after the second day it was announced.
