Keep in mind I bought a 2002 that Carfax said was clean, and it was in a flood and heavily damaged. Regardless of what Carfax says get that thing on a lift.

I've looked underneath and the only thing I saw was the diff cover was changed. That's my only concern.

Rear cover being changed could also mean the guy did not like the look of the factory one but seeing that the car looks 100% stock I would say a gear change is in order 3.23s to 3.42's my 01 has a little whine from my gear change 2.73's to 3.73's.

Best thing to do is put it back on the lift inspect her real good look for out of the place weld marks, rust near weld marks, pull up the carpet in the front floor boards, and the rear hatch area, look for uneven gaps on the sides of the hood and fenders, look at the gaps between the headlights and the front bumper cover.

From the outside the car looks to be in good shape for me and it's super rare is when you can find a car that is just as clean on the underside of the car as the outside is. Take my 01 you can eat off the underside of my car not to mention when the person who buys my Z will also get a nice book documenting every mod with photos from stock to the present condition they will also get the stock parts to with the car.

Good luck keep looking you will find the right one.

Sean
