Very nice.. I agree, the support rods look bad IMO, hopefully it holds up without them.

Hello, did you paint the rims yourself? They look nice. If so, how did you do it?

We sprayed the spokes CGM to match the color of the car and then taped off the spokes and painted everything else black

On a racetrack the splitter adds triple digit down force numbers

I just ordered one yesterday, need it for more down-force while auto crossing. You can see the lift in the attached picture while doing around 60mph.

Im looking at ordering one. Does it sit level to the ground? The underside of the facia on my 2012 slopes upwards. Im sure its a well engineered product, but imconfused about how it mounts.

It mounts to the underside of the fascia... With the use of the prop rods you can actually adjust it to level. I ran bolts all across the rear of the fascia. With the prop rods I built I can adjust the splitter two inches up or down. I do run it all the way up to get the car on the trailer, and run it from 3.25 to 4.0 inches depending on what I'm doing...

To mount this without any prop rod support is asking for trouble. Even at 70 mph there is enough down force created that it can flex down if not properly secured to contact the road surface...

Some will claim my installation is ugly, and that's fine... Mine is functional... and someone claimed this isn't nascar.... well, in my case, I can outrun all of them to speed so let the comments roll... Doesn't bother me... The beauty of these cars is we get to customize them to our liking or more importantly, to our need...

Agree strongly with SSE 4. You are asking for real trouble w/o some support rods and a secure attachment theme as the down force at higher speeds is trying to rip it off the car. http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showth...=451410&page=2
