I fenced in my driveway and am getting a metal carport to protect it from the elements. I'll drive my Camry in the winter.

Spot reserved in the garage already. This country the salt that is spread turns the roads white. Won't even drive on nice days. Have to resort to my 4x4 pickup

What he said. I may sell the TBSS and get a new Toyota 4x4 but no chance of driving a Camaro in the winter here. Of course, I am still waiting to buy it :(

I plan on garaging as well. I keep it garaged in between drives anyways but for the winter I will not drive it at all, the roads here get pretty bad and there are lots of idiots out there. I just need to get jack stands and all that to keep the tires from getting flat spots.

Anyone that knows good storage tips please post em! Thanks in advance

I Live in Portland. Will garage the SS the worst days of winter. Also, have an awd car that I drive year round.

I'm going to buy 18" winter tires/wheels for mine. I will have no other car, so I'm going to have to drive the camaro unless I can convince a family member to let me borrow theirs.

20" Tires

Les Schwabb was able to get me All Season Tires for my Trailblazer and it had 20" wheels, they also sipped them and had no trouble at all.

I refuse to particpate in winter this year!
I think if enough Camaro5 members agree....maybe we can discontinue it!
....otherwise.... its parked and covered.....

In the garage and covered. No winter for my SS. That's why I have a Suburban.

I'm putting a nice soft blankey on her while she hibernates till spring 2010. I even had heat put in the garage last winter thinking i may get it in the spring but i'm still waiting for Government Motors to figure out where Idaho is. It was shipped from Illinois 8-10-2009 by train and went right through Idaho, 2 hours north of me here in Idaho to Seattle and it is somewhere in Washington. They need to put GPS in their trains so they can find us here. Ordered October 2008 from dealer that got cancelled by a dumb shit in a suit while he was counting his bonus from us American Tax payers on one of his many vacations and then I had to reorder in May of 2009 from another dealer and still Government Motors can't get it delivered. So I'll probably get it in October - one year after i paid money and placed the order - in time to put her away for the winter. It sounds like from all others happy owners that it will be worth the wait. It is just sad that executives have no consquences for making bad decisions other than going somewhere else with their big bonus for just showing up to work a couple of weeks a year.

Mixing mine up. Using my 3/4 ton chevy silverado with 4" lift kit for the icy/snowy days. But will drive my maro when above freezing or there is no sand/salt.
